In the first race for the Sayonora Cup the Sayonora beat Culwalla 111. by eight minutes. (Reecived March 12, 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day.
The Sayonora, though only rated at 11.42 metres, is tclassed at 12 metres, while Culwalla 111. is rated at 10 metres. The question of time allowance was left to the British yachting authorities to decide. If that body allows the time -claimed, yesterday's race goes to the Culwalla.
