PERSONAL PARS.
CAMPBELL OF THE CITY
TEMPLE
A man who says what he means, and means what he says. The description is particularly applicable to the Rev. R. J. Campbell, whoso views on shop-lif e morality have raised sc> ; much discussion of late. His opinions and utterances are startling at times. It is only a :£ew weeks ago, for instance, when talking of husbands and wives, that he said there ought to be a law which would compel reprobate husbands, who spend all their salaries on pleasure, to hand over every week an amount .sufficient for the needs of their wives and families'; doubtless many people will agree with him on this point.
