Advertiser wants two good dairy cows. The public are requested to make a note of the fact that. Mi 1 Mason's missing word competition will close on Wednesday next. All cakes intended for the North School bazaar and including those for the tivo competitions, must be handed in at tbe Parish Hall by 2.30 on Wednesday. Prizes for the competitions will be given by Mrs Soundy and Mrs Loft, and the cakes entered will become the property of the committee. The tablet system was brought into force to-day between tbe Woodville and Waipukurau railway stations. Yesterday an examination was made by MrWynn, head of the electrical department, and Mr Dawson, traffic inspector, with the result that everything was found to be in readiness for the installation of the new system to-day.
