AVAR AGAINST REBELS. Press Assn-^By telegraph— Copyright. SYDNEY, yesterday. Eastern files contain a terrible story in ' connection with the war against the Chinese rebels in Suma-. tra. The Dutch Government troops located a band in a large cave. They refused to surrender, and at the order of the military commander a fire was lighted at tho mouth of the cave. It was kept going awhile, and then extinguished. The rebels were still -obdurate, and the fire was relighted. When the cave was examined five men, twelve women, and eleven children were found suffocated. The Governor of Acheen was so shocked that he issued an. , order to prevent further similar horrors.
