NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
[PBEBS ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON N., last nigh*. The National Dairy awards were given in the pouifey classes. The entries arc not so good as last year, but the quality is excellent. A nunibor df addresses were given at the Dairy Conference. Mr Cuddio spoke on the necessity for pasteurisation, Mr C. Ashton (Chief Government Chemist) on manuring pastures, F. Gillan, .of Moumahaki, on feed for dairy cows, production and nutritive value. Mr Reakes, Chief Veterinarian, also spoke on pasteurisation, and the Hon. Mackenzie, Minister for Agriculture, addressed the Conference on agriculture generally. A meeting of Ayrshire breeders selected persons qualified as judges, and *he secretary was instructed to write A. and P. Associations for alist of persons who had acted as judges, and asking that judges be chosen at next show.
