The L»anncvirke representatives met tho Hastings players at Cornwall Park yesterday. The visitors were beaten by seven goals to one-. The Dannevirke men failed to play up to their expected form. The following team has been selected to represent Dannevirke against "NVaipawa on Wednesday, 30th June : Goalkeeper, Hayward ; backs, Adams and Bottrcll; halves, Gee, TJrwin and Atkinson; forwards, Burtenshaw, Easmussen, . Loader, Wilson, and Meredith. Emergencies: Backs, Norman; forwards, Lane. Practice matches for the team v will be held to-morrow and Monday morning at 6.40. : ' " . The following will be the B team to play the rep. team to-morrow morning: Simpson, Smith, Sydow, Bingham, Carston, llunciman, Bead, Paton, Eliasson, Swinburne, Soundy,' Barker, Hendy, Gunn, Thorburn, Fraser and Irvine. The rep. team will not be able -to get a full.team-.it practice, so two or three of the B team will make up tho team.
