[PBEBS ABBOCI ATIOH .] NAPIER, last niglit. At the Supreme Court to-day Mary "Walsh. Avas found guilty of theft of nin-e £1 notes from a man on the Hastings racecourse, and John, Currie of aiding »nd abetting, and they were each sentenced to eighteen' months' imprisonment. Puka Waatai, a Maori, vof ahout middle age, Avas acquitted on a charge of perjury at Wairoa.
