TEN REFUSED. I [PRESS ASSOCIATION J DUNEDIN, last night. The- Licensing Committee eonehuled the business of the annual meeting to-day so far as publicans' licenses" were -concerned... At a provious. sitting, applications for eight licenses were refused and to-day two more wero similarly dealt with, the hotels being the Central and the Rainbow. Applications for bottle licenses Mere further adjourned till June 30. Mr Solomon, K.C., stated that the question would be ai;gued in the Supremo Court, before liis Honor Justice Dennis ton-, on the 28th fust.
