Hay, produce, horses and furniture all brought their respective market values. Wednesday, June 16th, Mr George Cork's Dannevirke : There was an exceptionally large attendance at the sale, owing no doubt to the very superior class of furniture ■offered and being entirely unreserved. . The bidding for every lot was very brisk, -everything being sold under the hammer, and the sale' brought to :an early close. Saturday, June 19th: Our weekly mart sale resulted, as it always does, in a total clearance of poultry, pro-. <luce7 furniture, etc., the public now fully recognising that our mart is the best centre for 'disposing of goods -of any kind, and at the same time bargains are to be picked up every ■Saturday morningl ~ Saturday, June 19th, Dannevirke Tiorse'sale : An entry of about thirty . 'horses' faced the auctioneer, and with the exception of about half-a-dozen, one could not look upon them as a brilliant lot. A largo number of buyers, both from north . and south attended the sale, and competition was keen throughout the :sale. Heifers and dairy cows ap- ■' peared to be in good demand.
