Sir John Forrest has completed arrangements with the Imperial mint, whereby a Commonwealth issue of silver coins will be miritecLshoi'tly. Under the. agreement the Imperial Treasury will mint between £150,000, and £160,000 worth annually. ' The Australian profits will exceed £40,000 a. year. The head of the King appears on one side, and some easily 'recognised Australian design on the reverse.
