THE TAVIUNI.
(press association.] WESTPORT, to-day. The stranded steamer Taviuni has been lifted 18 feet aft, and 9 ;f eet forward. A cradle hits now to be constructed to drag the vessel to the breakwater, through which a cut will be made and the steamer launched into the, river. As so much of the necessary work has . been .done, a large number of the men will he paid off.
