Tennant and Raphael Cox, that the Government was fully determined to persevere in its land taxation proposal but would favorably consider amendments designed to_meet special cases oi hardship. Numerous Liberal and .Labor Commoners have memorialised Mr Asquith in favor of the proposed land taxes.
