The next criminal sittings of the Supreme Court at Napier will commence at Napier on the 22nd inst. . Two young men in the Railway Department's service were fined at Gove yesterday for being concerned in thefts from railway trucks. The charges against John Cline and Alice Maud Shepherd, for alleged child murder, were being investigated before Mr James, S.M-., at Woodville to-day. There is not the slightest doubt but that the public of Dannevirke are well catered for, and particularly so by that well-known and old-estab-lished firm, the N V Z. Clothing Factory. To-morrow (Saturday), only, the management are making a special offer of 2s in the £ discount off all top-coats sold. See advertisement in this issue, and coat display at the premises in High street.
