BOOKMAKING.
[FBEBB ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, to-day. The adjourned cases in which AA r m. and Jas. Ham were charged with bookmaking in Willis street on various dates, were dealt -with by Mr Riddle, S.M., to-day. Defendants are ' father and son. A\ T m. Ham pleaded guilty and was fined £3 and costs, in default seven days. In the second charge, he was also convicted and fined £1 and costs, or 48 hours' imprisonment. His father, Jas. Ham, was fined £2, and costs, in default 48 hours in gaol.
