Mr Sinclair^ supported the Dreadnought offer and the latter said the offer was worth more than its money value. Hon. C. M. Luke welcomed and supported the Dreadnought offer. It was desirable for the Premier to go Homo unhampered by fear of what might 'happen in Parliament in his absence. Hon. Anstey endorsed the previous' remarks. Ho suggested the development of natiiral resources to find employment for. the workless. Government had done a noble work in land settlement, but- more could be done. Hon. 'McCardle heartily approved tho Premier going Home and the adjournment of Parliament in the interval. He looked upon him as a great man in whom every confidence was placed. ,?-...-' - Dr Findlay congratulated the mover and seconder on their' appearance in tho Council. He was pleased at the unanimity regarding' the Government proposals. The motion was then agreed to, and the Council rose till 2.30.
