NEWCASTLE, yesterday. A daring act of vandalism is reported. Thieves moved the, foundation son©"' of a memorial to the coal industry laid thie previous day and smashed the receptable containing coins, but they were interrupted they abstracted the money. The stone weis^hed 6cwt.
