ANNUAL MEETING. Tbe annual meeting of tlio abovo Association Avas held in the Foresters' Hall on Fr'day evening. There Avas a good attendance of members, and Mr S. Bolton (vico-President) occupied the chair. The .folloAving letter Avas read from Mr H. Gaisford: — "I am sorry that I am unable to attend the annual general -meeting. I have to go to Napier on important business that could not be put oft*. - 1 liope you Avill have a largo and successful meeting! The Association has a credit balance, and if members and others would exhibit more largely that balance could: bo greatly "increased next year." 7 After the minutes of the previous annual meeting Avere read and confirmed, the secretary read the report and balance-sheet. ' Auditors — Messrs E. J. Got'hard arid A. Pickering (re-elected). Treasurer— Mr H. Burnett (reelected) .' Committee — Messrs , Charmley, Monteith, Stace, McKibbon, Kirkpatrick, Logan, Grieves, and E. Harding. . The chairman moved that a very hearty A r ote of thanks be accorded to Mr H. Gaisford for the great interest he had taken in the Association and their show last season. Mr Nelson seconded. Messrs Gothard and "Whitehead testified to the good Avork done by Mr Gaisford, but the latter thought that Mr Bolton av„s" also entitled to a special A-ote of thanks for his coming to their rescue last year at a time when they Avere in a sad plight. Palmer Avere elected members of the association.
