Press Assn— By telegraph— Copyright. LONDON, yesterday. The annual meeting of the German Navy League was held at Kiel. There are 977,563 members. Prince Henry of Prussia congratulated the league on the restoration <.f harmony, and recommended them to base their efforts upon the navy law which was not always rightly understood. . \ ■ The German Admiral Von Weber said the defence of trade on the coasts was not the only task for the German navy to deal with. The grouping of tlie Powers during, the present < events in South Eastern Europe, showed that a strong navy was indispensable to the political prestige of the Empire. Admiral Weber's demonstration that tlie navy law was capable of much further expansion and could easily be made to cover a batch of new Invincibles, was vociferously applauded. - (Receved this day, 8.-30 a.m.) LONDON, yesterday. Admiral Von Weber declared that Germans must work to create so powerful a fleet that even the most .-powerful maritime nation' would incur a. serious risk in making war against Germany.
