During last month New Zealand exported 46,525 ounces of gold, yalned.ai £185,271, compared with 45,017 ounces -valued at £179,487 during May of last year. There was a decrease for the first five months of the present year of 1.5,485 ounces of gold valued at £55,151, but. an. increase of 90,049 ounces of silver, valued at £7300 compared with. -the /-figures of tho corresponding period of. last year.
