There are still no tidings of the coastal steamer Wootton, belonging to the Ivaiapoi Shipping and Trading Co., which broke do\vn in Cook Strait on Wednesday, and was towed as far as Capo .Terawhiti by tho Blenheim:; Vessels which arrived here.to-day report no sign of tho disabled steamer. The Marino Department are advised from Capo Campbell lighthouse that the Wootton passed there-n orthward on Wednesday. -The" Union Co.'s tug Terawhiti left port "this afternoon to search for her, but it is blowing hard from the northward, and a big sea is running in the Strait.
