ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

[FBEBB ASSOCIATION.] HOKITJKA, last night. A young girl named Mary Hall, employed in the Occidental Hotel, threw herself from the railway bridge into the- Hokitika river about 6 this evening. Her cries for help brought an oil launch to the scene, and she was rescued, beiut; thoroughly exhausted.
