(Continued from yesterday). The discussion again turned on the profits made by "Wylie and Co.'s business, several creditors arguing that <t should be closed up at once. Mr Clarke then moved, and Mr Drumiuond seconded as an. amendment to the first, motion, "That stock be taken and a balance-sheet prepared, to be submitted to a . meeting three weeks hence, a copy of the bal-ance-sheet to be posted to outside creditors;" The third proposition was moved, and after a short discussion as to the remuneration of the accountant engaged on the books, the legal expenses incurred in. connection with the bankrupt's trust account was abandoned by the mover. The fourth resolution was moved by Mr Dempsey, and objected to by Mr Rose as being superfluous, as the DO. A. already had the power to do as the resolution directed. The motion was not then put to the meeting. The fourth resolution was also abandoned. Mr C. Thomson moved that Messrs Giesen and Ashcroft be appointed as supervisors to assist the D.O.A. in realising the estate. Mr Rose opposed the appointment of supervisors until the balance-sheet was prepared, and moved in - that direction, the original motion being withdrawn. •. .
