N.Z. LOAN AND MERCANTILE AGENCY CO., LTD.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report holding their usual fortnightly sale, in Miller's road yards yesterday, y wheti they offered a small yarding of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle to a good attendance, of the public. We penned a lino of 315 woolly hoggets, small, which were sold under the hammer at 9s 6d. Young cattle sold well, as also.'did 1 grown cattle. We quote : Hojujets in wool 9s 6d, 18-month heifers 37s to 38s 6d; a line of grown steers made £5 10s, forward cows to £3 15b, two and a half year steers £3 14s 6d.
