Dancing to commence at 1.30. Hon. Piper: E. DRYSDALE. RULES AND CONDITIONS. Cycling events run under League of New Zealand Wheelmen's Rules. Licenses may be obtained from Mr T. W. Lovejoy, Palmerston North, or the secretary. No entry is valid unless made on N.Z.A.U. forms, which are obtainable from the secretary. Other events run under rules of New Zealand Athletic Union. Permits may be obtained from Mr C. A. Tabateau, Masterton, or from the secretary. Winners will be required to produce licenses before the prize money is paid out. No nomination will be accepted on any account without the proper entrance fee. • Nominations for 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, B, 11, 12, 13, 18, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27 and 28 close with the secretary (Mr J. A. Walsh) at Pahiatua, on Monday, December 7th, at 8 p.mr Nominations must be accompanied by cash or postal notes. • All performances for the past two years must be given. If no wins for two yeaTs last performances must be stated. Marks from which evente were. won must be given. Handicaps will appear in the Pahiatua Herald on WEDNESDAY, December 16th. 1 Acceptances for events mentioned, and entrances for others close on the ground 20 minutes before the race. Protests, accompanied by 2s 6d» which will be forfeited if objection be considered frivolous, must be lodged with' the secretary within 15 minutes after the race. The Committee reserve the right to postpone the meeting from day to day should the weather prove unfavourable. . No Ist prize unless three starters; no 2nd prize unless five starters; ho 3rd prize unless six starters. The railway time-table has been arranged to suit the convenience of patrons.
