SHOOTING AFFRAY AT INVERCARGILL.

[press association.] INVERCARGILL, yesterday. A singular shooting affray occurred at North Invercargill last night. A motoring party were leaving their residence, when a married woman, Mrs Buchanan, appeared, and, it is alleged, fired six shots from a revolver, wounding one of the occupants of the car, Miss McKay, in the arm. The assailant had been caretaker Of the house* during the owner's absence in England. ; - : . . ' .
