NEGLECTED CHILDREN.

In the Police Court Sarah Cliappel. a married woman, living apart from her husband, was charged with having neglected and ill-treated two illegitimate .children. • The magistrate said accused was living a life of dissipation and debauchery, leaving tho children to shift for themselves; but for the kindness of neighbors they would probably have died.
