I WEIGHTS for all races on first day ' of meeting will be declared on MONDAY, 23rd x*.ovember, 1908. ACCEPTANCES for all races on first day of meeting and entrance for Maiden and Scurry close with the Secretary at Woodville at 8 p.m. on FRIDAY, 27th November, 1908. WEIGHTS for all races on second day of meeting will be declared about 8.30 o'clock on the evening of the first day's races. ACCEPTANCES for second day's races close with the Secretary at the Club's -rooms, Woodville, at 9.30 on the evening of the first day's races. CONDITIONS. 1. Races 4, 6 and 8 on each day are open to all horses. 2. No deduction will be made from the advertised stakes. 3. Hack Definition : No horse shall be eligible to start in the Hack events which at the time of nomination won a race of the value of lOOsovs to the winner, or races of the aggregate value of 250sovs to the winner. The amount won. by any horse in flat races, hurdle races, or steeplechases respectively, shall be estimated separately, and shall hot debar such horse from entry except in the special class of race in which he has won the amount. 4. Description, age, pedigree, and performances of horses, colours of riders and names of trainers must accompany nominations. 5. Entries MUST be- accompanied by cash, cheque, or post-office order. 6. Every entry shall state the name ot assumed name of the owner or owners. 7. Owners of horses which are liable under the rules of racing to be bracketed on the Totalisator must give notice to that effect not later than the hour of acceptance or entry for Maiden and Scurry as the case may be, under penalty of not less than £10 or more than £100. PENALTIES. Flat Races: The winner of anj flat race (after declaration of weight*, if handicapped under Bst 101 b) to carry 101 b penalty, and for every additional race 61b extra; if handicapped at Bst 101 bor over, to carry only half the above penalties. Hurdle Races: The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry 101 b penalty in th*3 hurdle races; of two or more hurt-b---races 211 b penalty. Telegraph Office closes at 8 p.m. E.
