MURDEROUS ASSAULT IN COURT. Press Assn. — By telegraph— Copyright. LONDON, yesterday. During the trial of Ruef at San Francisco, Francis Heney, District Attorney, who prosecuted Schmitz and others for graft, was murderously assaulted in court, and is believed to be dying. The assailant, a saloon keeper named Morris Haas, has been arrested. He declared that he had been ruined by Heney, and therefore shot him.
