In the singles, Alexander beat Heath easily, 6 — 3, 6—l, 6^2; while Beals Wright similarly disposed of Baird, the Geelong champion, 7-T-5, 7—1,, 6—l. Wright showed himself a perfect master of every stroke. His anticipation of his opponent's return was only equalleld by Brookes, in the champion doubles. Brookes and Wilding defeated Doust and Diddams by 4—6, 6—o, 6-4, 6—2.
