[PRESS ASSOCIATION.] HASTINGS, to-day. - The ' Hawke's Bay A. and P. show opened to-day with a fair attendance. It rained during the night, and continued showery till midday, when the weather cleared. Judging is 'progressing. Awards : — Shorthorn bull, Mt. Herbert Estate, Ist and ■ champion ; Ayrshire bull, Slack iiros., Palmerston, Ist and champion.
