Horder, the State champion, was badly injured, and Summers (the New Zealander) had several ribs broken. A survey, of the Union Company's steamer Wairunaj which collided with the steamer Mintaro in Sydney harbour, shows that nine plates were dented, reaching below the waterline. It is expected that four or five will have io he replaced. MELBOURNE, yesterday. : Australian' exports to China decreased by £27,377 last year, while Chinese, exports to Australia increased .by £19,219. The falling off in the Australian exports does not represent the true position, as quantities of goods enter* -China' via Hong--kong. HOBART, yesterday. ; Hudson, who murdered Adolph Bock, has been reprieved.
