A SUSPECT DISAPPEARS
BRISBANE,, yesterday. The manager was temporarily absent from the bank, and Muir took his place, sleeping' in the bank. Muir left his boardinghouse to go to the bank a few minutes before the shots were heard.
It is believed that the burglar was hidden in the bank arid "shot Muir on the latter entering his bedroom. A strange hat and broken lamp 'were found lying near the body, which bore four revolver wounds and a fifth through the hand.
• A man who is suspected of the crime has disappeared.
