LONDON, yesterday.
The Times' Washington correspondent reports that the Agricultural Departments exyperiment shoAv that the use of maize and straw- for the purpose of making paper pulp are satisfactory. It is improbable, however, that maize and straAv pulp Avill oust wood, but it may check a further rise in the price of paper.
