The game was very uninteresting, although: fast; ''' md was almost one long^scrainble. A high ,wind was blowing and^while plaiying^against it neitfl^r side scored. In the second spell Ready and McLeod scored tries for Wellington. Evensen : potted a. goal and Ryan kicked a penalty goal. Wellington .. were without the services of Mitch- 1 inscm, and Taranaki of Huntei 1 ) Mynottj Hardgreaves and Trewin. j
