The final round for the Knight N ciip w as played on Saturday. The four best cards given in by a player for this trophy resulted in. Mrs Roberts being first, with a score of 321, and I Miss Myra Tansley second, with a score of 329. The cup is held by the winner for one year. Two lady members of the Napier Golf Club broke their journey here last week and played a friendly game with two local members, resulting in a win for Dannevirke.
A meeting of the lady members of the club was held on Friday to make arrangements for the annual golf dance, to be held on Friday, September IBth v The - following were appointed as a committee to carry out the dance: — Mesdames Robertson, Baddeley, Nymand, Misses Pettit, Robertson, and Baker.
