FIRE AT CHRISTCHURCH.

CHKISTCHUKCH, yesterday
A fire occurred about 1.20 o'clock this morning in a^building situated in Hereford street, occupied by the Remington Typewriting Company ; W. Harvie, artist;^. Marshall's Pr'oprietory Co.; Sims, 'Cooper and Co-.; and W. W. Davies, dentist. A portion tenanted by Harvie was completely burnt, while the rooms occupied by Marshall were slightly damaged before the brigade extinguished tho fire. Harvie was insured for £350 in the New Zealand Insurance Office.
