Press Assn — By telegraph — Copyright. (Received this day, 8.20 a.m.) , ' COPENHAGEN, yesterday The defalcations of P. A. Alberti, the Danish ex-Mihister for Justice, total a million kroner (crowns). [A cable on Thursday stated that accused had defrauded the Zealand Peasants' Savings Bank, whereof he was a director, of half a million sterling.]
Pastor Ries informs us that late Danish, papers state that Alberti was dismissed on 24th July. He had then been accused of mixing up State concerns with his private business. His friends regarded his fall as a "soft" one, as he had been appointed a Privy Councillor, with a pension. •:
