FEDERAL POLITICS. MR DEAKIN WILL RESIGN.
Press Assn — By telegraph — Copyright. MELBOURNE, Saturday. Mr Deakin resigns on Wednesday. The caucus of the Labor party was noisy. At a gathering those who had brought about the crisis were taken to task, but stuck to their guns. Mr Cook, Deputy-Leader of the Opposition, says this is one of these crises in which, the Opposition had absolutely nothing to do but look on.
