INFANT MORTALITY.
JUKWMrHNE. Yesterday. The inquest on Jive babies as ho died at premises registered by a nurse, revealed a shocking story of cruelty and neglect. The little ones were tied hand and foot to prevent them throwing the, bed clothes off. The surroundings were dirty. The coroner said the evidence was not sufficient to commit the nurse for manslaa^liter. but lie hoped she could be punished for cruelty.
