[PHESS ASSOCIATION. ] WELLINGTON, To-day. The criminal sessions of tho Supreme Court commenced to-day, before Mr Justice Chapman, a\lio congratulated the grand jury on tho fact that tlio cases they would have to consider represented, comparatively speaking, a satisfactory state, of affairs in this district. Tho crime*; alleged were neither numerous nor exceptionally serious.
