CROWN PRINCE ALSO KILLED.
Press Assn — By telegraph— Copyright. LONDON, Yesterday. The King and the Crown Prince of Portugal have been assassinated. Three of the murderers were killed on the spot. LISBON. Yesterday. Particulars concerning the assassination of the King and Crown Prince show that the King and Queen, accompanied by the Crown Prince and the Infanta Manuel, wero out driving in Lisbon in an open carriage, at o o'clock. When they were leaving the Praco do Connnercio a group of men opened (ire upon them with carbines. The King and Crown Prince were mortally wounded, and tho Infanta Manuel slightly. Tho Queen had a miraculous escape. She lose to shield t lie Crown Prince, but whs not hit. The police immediately fired on the regicides, and killed three. The King and Crown Prince were removed to the naval arsenal, having received three bullets each. They died shortly afterwards.
