» * A meeting of the Dannevirke I branch of the N.Z. Referees' Asso- 1 ciation was held at the Junction Hotel at 8 p.m. last evening, when the following members were present : Messrs Carston. (Chairman), Snell, Watt, Shanly, Gibbie, Coltman, Dunstall, McDonald, and O'Neil (hon. secretary). The following resolutions were unanimously carried: That all matches start strictly on advertised time; also that players speaking or using abusive language during the game be severely dealt with. The following referees were appointed for next Wednesday's fixtures : — SENIORS. Dannevirke v. Excelsior, at Dannevirke: Mr Carston. Aotea v. Woodville, at Dannevirke: Mr Snell. JUNIORS. Danevirke v. , Woodville, at Woodville: Mr Dunstall. Excelsior v. Aotea, at Dannevirke: Mr Rosenberg.
