HUSH WATT RELEASED.

Watt, whose release after serving a year for attempting to procure the murder of his wife, was ordered in August last, has been discharged from gaol. Hugh Watt, ex-M.P., both in Aus" tralia^and England, was sentenced to five years' imprisonment for attempting to procure the murder of his divorced wife. The sentence was reduced to a year's imprisonment. A visitor to ParkLursfc Gaol recently found Watt suffering from asthma, and his eyesight, too, was -very much affected, he having the use of one eye only. Tke convict expressed himself in bitter terms of his being kept a prisoner so long, and himself regards the whole thing as a miscarriage of justice. Although kindly treated by tbe officials and allewed to be in the infirmary, he said it was killing him.
