DISTRICT COURT.
(Per Press Association). Pahiatua, This day. Atthe sitting of the District Court, before Judge Haselden, William Beaufort and Geo Little^ two youths, for assault bn a young girl, were sentenced to : six weeks' imprisonment in Wellington gaol, the Judge stating that instructions would be given to the gaoler that both prisoners be kept' separate and apart from other prisoners. For assault John Folley was admitted to six months' probation, and ordered to payJHO towards the expenses of the prosecution.
