The storm destroyed the new harbour at Skillinge, Baltic, and demolished some houses. Unprecedentedly severe cold prevails in Switzerland and Eastern Germany, where several have been frozen to death. The flower of the harvest in the San Remo district has been destroyed. The Tiber is frozen.
