Electric Telegraph — Copyright) LOndoit, Dec. 29; The Times, commenting on the fiscal Blue Book, says that, when, efforts are made to depreciate and belittle Australian indications of willingness to grant preference, it ought to be remembered that the average Commonwealth duty on British goods is only 6 per cent, as compared with 17 per cent, in Canada under a preferential tariff.
