An Exciting Bolt.

TWO PERSONS INJURED. Gisborne, March 21. An exciting runaway occurecl this afternoon in the main street. A bolt dropping out caused a horse attached to a buggy to take fright. A violent impact with a verandah post resulted in a daughter of Mr Johnstone, clei'k of the Court, aged 10, sustaining a broken teg. The other occupants of the buggy — Mrs Sharp and Miss Wren — were much shaken, the latter having a knee injured. The horse, with the shafts attached, galloped about 20 yards further, soattoring tho crowd and smashing into Miner's large plato-glass Window. Behind that was » large mirror, which was wrecked, Mr Stacey Longford dashed to the horse's head, caught the animal, and led it out, though the heavy glass was "falling around him. Longford was cut about the legs and had to seek medical aid, but his injuries are not considered serious.
