STARVED TO DEATH.
(per press association.) Wellington, This day. Last week it was reported to tlie police that an infant named Krinckey living with its mother in Courtenay Place was dying apparently of starvation. A doctor visited it and said it had been neglected, and could nofc live long. The child was taken from the mother, bufc died yesterday, and the doctor, refusing to certify to tha death an inquest will be held.
