Average Length of Life in France.
M. Lagneau has presented a report to the French Academe de Medecine proving the following facts : — That owing to the enormous mortality of nevrly-born Tunisians put out to nurse ; owing to the great mortality of infants, principalis*? among the laboring classes, irom athrersy, diphtheria, aud measles ; owing to the high mortality of the citizens from phthisis and other tuberculous affections, tbe average life or average age oi those who die iv Paris appears to be 2S years, whiio for the wholo of France he average age is '10.
