HAWKE'S BAY SECTION. nnHE Council of tho Association JL invite all Electors in the Electorates of the province of Hawke's -Bay -who are in sympathy with the Platform of tho Association to attend a meeting to be held in tbo Theatre Royal, Napier, on the evening of SATURDAY, August 27th, at 8 o'clock, when Addresses explanatory of the Origin and Objects of tho Association will bo given. The following is the Platform of the Association : — 1. To promote a National Sentiment as opposed to sectional and class intorests. 2. To promote Agricultural, Mining, Commercial, and Manufacturing Enterprise by removing all unnecessary obstacles to their development. 3. To promote tho due Registration of Parliamentary Electors, truo Representation in Parliament, and the Election of_tho best men available. 4. To promote Reforms — Economic, Legislative, and Constitutional. 5. To promote Sound Political Economy and to oppose Class Legislation, and all undue interference with Individual Rights and Liberty. 6. To improvo tho position of membors of the Civil Sorvice.
